What We Do
ChristmasFuture is empowering connection between the developed world and the developing world by changing the way people think about giving. Our movement impacts everyone involved. Some receive sustainable relief from the oppression of poverty, while others receive a sense of meaning, which is not common in a culture that often prizes over-abundance.
This connection provides us the ability to walk together with under-developed communities towards the goal of eliminating the respective types of poverty in our lives and theirs.
Our Way Forward
Requires us to:
- Intelligently and diligently select projects that move us toward the specific and sustainable goal of eradicating extreme poverty
- Inspire and empower members of the developed world to participate in this movement
- Enable the developed world to witness the change that their choices make in the world
Goals
ChristmasFuture empowers people to eradicate extreme poverty. To accomplish our vision we will:
- Build an organization that effectively makes this opportunity available to the world
- Build awareness of this opportunity and create the grassroots movement necessary for its success
- Deliver a software platform, DonorTrust Technology, that provides a stronger connection to the developing world, while increasing organizational transparency and significantly reducing overhead costs.
- Work with people, partners, and humanitarian organizations to make this opportunity available to the world, beginning Christmas 2007
