Project Description
The Base Module for Kail Gran is a key development component of bringing people out of extreme poverty in a lasting way. It trains people to find and create their own solutions to extreme poverty.
HiMaT, the implementing organization, provides education and training that empowers the entire community to plan, direct, implement, and sustain development projects.
The Base Module project provides comprehensive educational and organizational training to the people of Kail Gran; this equips the entire community with the skills, knowledge, and resources to make real and lasting improvements.
This Base Module project ensures that the community vision and action plan represents the real priorities of the community, not just the most powerful or influential. By maximizing the number of people who own the vision and are engaged in its implementation, the Base Module project will create lasting change in the people of Kail Gran.
